BLS BED showcase

Question: For the latest common BLS three-month period (2025-12), which covered areas have the largest private-sector gross job gains minus losses, and how do their gain/loss rates compare? Earlier common periods remain available in the CSV for trend context.

This public derivative joins the official BLS Table 6 (gross job gains and losses) with Table 7 (gross job gain/loss rates) by period and geography. It contains 270 joined rows across 5 periods and 54 BLS geographies per source table. Table 6 values are full job counts; Table 7 values are percentages. The featured ranking covers the 50 states plus the District of Columbia (51 state/DC components) and excludes the United States aggregate, Puerto Rico, and Virgin Islands.

The featured ranking computes `net_job_change = gross_job_gains - gross_job_losses` in the latest common period, 2025-12. Earlier common periods remain in the CSV for trend context.
